About the role

areeba is looking for a “Head of Marketing Communication” to work in the Fintech field.

The “Head of Marketing Communication” will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of areeba group marketing, social media, branding and communication activities. His/her job involves creating all marketing materials and organizing marketing events to expose company products and offerings to its audience. The role also entails writing press releases, interviews, content for electronic and printed collateral such as websites, flyers, sociatarget l media calendar and presentations.

Required Tasks:
  • Corporate Communication & Advertising
    • Prepare the yearly corporate and communication plan
    • Set and monitor the yearly marketing budget of the group
    • Prepare new initiatives and their respective marketing plan
    • Analyze the results of the marketing campaigns
    • Manage Sponsorships, Exhibitions, Events and Press Conferences locally and abroad
    • Prepare press releases, interviews and press conferences
    • Handle all printing materials: brochure, flyers etc.
    • Handle CSR activities
    • Handle internal communication
    • Coordinate with other departments for specific product / initiative
    • Liaise with agencies and other vendor partners
    • Coordinate with the marketing teams of areeba Group
  • Digital & Social Media
    • Manage and maintain the company’s website(s) and mobile app(s) while keeping best practices in mind
    • Optimize content for the website and social media platforms
    • Plan and manage the company presence on social media
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing channels and initiatives, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
    • Provide internal reports on regular basis and track the website traffic flow
    • Handle all digital content for the group: monthly calendar, presentation, videos, animations


Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field (MBA is a plus)


Technical Skills

  • 7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Experience with marketing campaigns on social media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
